Page 1 – Full-page spread:
Evan and the replicas are flying towards a remote island. The skies are dark and ominous, the wind howling around them as the island looms below, isolated from civilization. Evan looks confused but trusts what he believes to be his team. The replicas are flying silently, their faces hidden by the shadows of their hoods.

Caption:
"They said it was here... But why does it feel wrong?"

Page 2 – Panel 1:
Evan glances sideways at the replicas, trying to piece things together. His team is unusually quiet.

Evan:
“Why are we heading to an island? What’s really going on, guys?”

Replica Mirage:
“The creature is on this island, Evan. We just need to get close enough.”

Page 2 – Panel 2:
Evan stares, suspicious, but says nothing. The distance between the island and the ship shrinks as they approach. The team’s expressions remain unreadable.

Evan (thinking):
“Something doesn’t feel right. But I’ll figure it out soon enough.”

Page 3 – Panel 1:
Cut to: The real crew, back at the base, looking around, trying to make sense of the chaos. They sit at a table, gathered and concerned.

Captain Hawke:
“We need to find Evan. Something's wrong. It's like he’s... being led somewhere.”

Page 3 – Panel 2:
The crew members exchange uneasy glances. Voltfist stands up, a hard look on his face.

Voltfist:
“We have a radar on him. We can track his location.”

Page 4 – Panel 1:
The real team gathers around a holographic map, showing Evan’s location on the island. The radar flickers slightly, the signal disrupted.

Mindquake:
“Why can’t we contact him? The signal’s being blocked.”

Aegis:
“It’s the replicas. They’re interfering with the line. We have to move quickly.”

Page 5 – Panel 1:
Evan, still flying towards the island, looks ahead, squinting as they approach. The island is smaller than he thought, isolated with no signs of life or activity.

Evan (thinking):
“I still don’t get it. No creature, no sign of anything dangerous. Why are we really here?”

Page 5 – Panel 2:
The replicas land on the island first, turning to face Evan with cold, emotionless expressions.

Replica Voltfist:
“Welcome to the island. We’ve made it. Now, let’s finish what we started.”

Page 6 – Panel 1:
Evan looks around, his suspicion growing. He crosses his arms, frowning.

Evan:
“I know you guys are playing a prank on me, but it’s not funny anymore. This has gone too far.”

Page 6 – Panel 2:
The replicas stand still for a moment before suddenly growing darker, their eyes glowing faintly as they begin to shift, their forms twisting into more aggressive, monstrous versions of themselves.

Page 7 – Full-page spread:
The replicas attack in unison, their strength overwhelming. Evan tries to defend himself but is clearly outmatched. The battle is brutal: punches and kicks land with sickening thuds, Evan grunts in pain, trying his best to fight back but struggling as the replicas pummel him into the ground.

Page 8 – Panel 1:
Cut back to the real team, racing toward the island.

Voltfist:
“Where the hell is Evan? He should’ve been in contact by now.”

Page 8 – Panel 2:
The sound barrier breaks as they fly faster, eyes narrowed in concern.

Aegis:
“We’re getting close. Prepare for the worst.”

Page 9 – Panel 1:
Evan, on the ground, is struggling. His body is battered and bloody. One of the replicas kicks him hard in the chest, sending him sprawling backward. He gasps for breath, his vision blurred.

Evan (thinking):
“I don’t want to hurt them... they’re my team... but they’re not my team.”

Page 9 – Panel 2:
The replicas stand over Evan, ready to finish him off. Just as one replica raises its foot for another devastating strike, a powerful force knocks it off course.

Page 10 – Full-page spread:
Lena charges at the replica that was about to attack Evan, slamming into it and sending it flying several blocks away. The ground cracks beneath their impact. The other replicas prepare to retaliate.

Lena:
“Evan, get up! We’re here!”

Page 11 – Panel 1:
Evan, still stunned, watches in disbelief as the real team lands. They rush toward him, but his eyes widen in horror when he sees the replicas standing alongside them, identical copies of the team members.

Evan:
“What the hell...? What are these things?”

Page 11 – Panel 2:
The real crew is taken aback, realizing the replicas aren’t just attacking them – they’re looking exactly like them. Voltfist and the others exchange uneasy glances.

Voltfist:
“These aren’t just some random clones... they’re us.”

Page 12 – Panel 1:
The fight continues. The real crew is thrown into brutal combat with their replicas. Blood stains the ground as punches land, broken ribs, fractured bones, and flying teeth fill the scene. The sheer violence is palpable.

Page 13 – Full-page spread:
The replicas, showing no mercy, launch their final move: duplication. With a horrifying sound, the original five replicas split, each one now forming two identical copies of themselves.

Caption (Zyrax’s voice):
“They’ve become unstoppable.”

Page 14 – Panel 1:
The real crew, now overwhelmed and outnumbered, is being tossed around like ragdolls. Their strength is failing, and the replicas are closing in.

Lena (yelling):
“Evan, we can’t win this...”

Page 15 – Panel 1:
Evan, crawling along the dirt, bloodied and broken, watches helplessly as the replicas close in. One steps toward him, ready to strike the final blow.

Evan (thinking):
“I can’t give up... I can’t...”

Page 16 – Panel 1:
Just as the replica prepares to end Evan, it suddenly lets out a scream as something charges through its stomach, ripping it apart from the inside. The replica falls to the ground, dead.

Page 16 – Panel 2:
The camera pans up, showing Evan’s shocked expression. Another replica of Mindquake, a clone of the one that just fell, suddenly vanishes into thin air, disappearing like it was never there.

Page 17 – Panel 1:
Evan, still struggling to breathe, looks up with a confused expression. His gaze locks onto a figure standing in the distance, bathed in a strange light.

Evan (shocked):
“WHAT THE—?”
