ISSUE #32
Page 1 – Full-page spread:
The page opens with an epic battle scene, the aftermath of a few days of chaos since the meteor struck. The heroes are in mid-combat, facing off against the elemental twins—Tstunamo and Magmatic—who stand imposingly. Tstunamo is composed of swirling water, while Magmatic is made of burning magma, both glaring down at the heroes. The heroes are in action, using their powers to dodge and counter.
Caption (narration):
“It’s been days since the meteor’s impact. The Earth is still reeling from the fallout. Humanity has changed—some for better, others for worse. And now, these new superhumans are wreaking havoc.”
Page 2 – Panel 1:
Tstunamo releases a devastating high-pressure water blast toward the heroes, knocking them off their feet with the force. The spray of water is so intense that it causes a crater in the ground.
Tstunamo (grinning):
“You think you can stop us? We are the new rulers of this world!”
Page 2 – Panel 2:
Magmatic retaliates, unleashing a burst of magma from his body, sending a stream of fire toward the team. The team dodges, but the heat is intense, and they can feel it from a distance.
Magmatic (laughing):
“You heroes are too soft for this world. Burn, little insects!”
Page 2 – Panel 3:
The team, pushed to their limits, tries to regroup, but it’s clear they’re struggling. Voltfist is trying to blast the twins with electric bolts, but the water and magma are too fluid, and the blasts go right through them with little effect.
Voltfist (frustrated):
“This isn’t working! They’re not even solid enough to hit!”
Page 3 – Panel 1:
Mirage, in her human form, shifts into an ice giant and slams a huge icy fist into Magmatic’s chest, freezing him temporarily. The frost spreads across his body, but he grins.
Magmatic (snarling):
“You think that will stop me, little ice giant?”
Page 3 – Panel 2:
Mindquake, using her telekinetic abilities, sends a massive rock flying toward Magmatic’s frozen chest. The impact knocks him back with tremendous force, sending him crashing into a nearby building.
Page 3 – Panel 3:
Tstunamo retaliates by charging toward the heroes, blasting them with high-pressure water jets. Mirage quickly shifts back to her normal form and freezes the water mid-air, turning Tstunamo’s attack into harmless ice crystals. She then sends the frozen shards flying toward him.
Tstunamo (angrily):
“You think ice will stop me?”
Page 4 – Panel 1:
Lena, using her unique abilities, unleashes a blast of energy from her hands, the shockwave hitting Tstunamo’s frozen body and sending him crashing to the ground. He struggles, but the ice holds him down, immobilizing him.
Page 4 – Panel 2:
Magmatic and Tstunamo regroup and prepare to attack again. The team is battered, but not beaten. Voltfist charges up a massive electric blast, his eyes glowing with determination.
Voltfist (grinning):
“I’ve got an idea…”
Page 4 – Panel 3:
Voltfist unleashes a lightning bolt at Tstunamo. The electricity travels through the water in his body, shocking him violently. The energy surges through him, causing Tstunamo to convulse and fall to the ground, permanently knocked out.
Page 5 – Panel 1:
Aegis steps forward, using his shield to launch a powerful blast at Magmatic. Magmatic laughs as Aegis’s attack barely seems to affect him.
Magmatic (laughing):
“You think your shield can stop me?”
Page 5 – Panel 2:
Aegis, gritting his teeth, shouts back at the team.
Aegis (yelling):
“Now!”
Page 5 – Panel 3:
Mirage quickly shifts back to her ice giant form and freezes Magmatic’s body. As he tries to break free, Evan and Lena simultaneously charge at him with incredible speed.
Evan and Lena (simultaneously):
“For Earth!”
Page 6 – Panel 1:
Evan and Lena, moving at supersonic speeds, break the sound barrier as they both land powerful kicks to Magmatic’s frozen chest. The force of their blows sends him flying, crashing into the ocean with a massive splash. His body, still made of magma, starts to solidify and harden as he screams in agony.
Page 6 – Panel 2:
The team watches as Magmatic struggles in the water, screaming in pain as his body turns to solid rock.
Magmatic (screaming):
“No… no…!”
Page 6 – Panel 3:
With both of the elemental twins defeated, the team gathers together, high-fiving and celebrating their victory. The scene is triumphant, but everyone knows this is just the beginning.
Voltfist (grinning):
“That was a workout. But we did it!”
Page 7 – Panel 1:
The scene shifts to the team's communications hub. Captain Hawke’s voice comes through on the earpiece, congratulating the team.
Captain Hawke (over comms):
“Well done, team. You handled that well. But don’t get too comfortable. We need to get back to base. There’s more going on than we first realized.”
Page 7 – Panel 2:
Dr. Vaen is back on Earth, having returned to assist the team. Aegis stands nearby, his arms crossed, as they discuss the elemental twins.
Aegis (curious):
“Who were these guys? They didn’t seem Zynari.”
Dr. Vaen (shaking her head):
“They weren’t. These two are something entirely different. I’ve been researching the meteor impact, and there’s no sign of Zynar involvement. We’re dealing with a much bigger threat.”
Page 8 – Panel 1:
The rest of the team gathers around, each member expressing confusion about the new threat.
Mindquake (narrowing her eyes):
“They were too strong. And their bodies… they’re not human anymore.”
Voltfist (clenching his fists):
“Not Zynari. Then who are they?”
Mirage (shaking her head):
“I can’t feel anything. It’s like there’s nothing I can sense about them. This is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced.”
Page 8 – Panel 2:
Mirage, always the strategist, looks at the team with a serious expression.
Mirage:
“We need to prepare. We have no idea what’s coming next. But we can’t let our guard down. Whatever this is, it’s bigger than we thought.”
Page 9 – Panel 1:
As the team talks, they suddenly hear a voice. It’s Jason, appearing unexpectedly from the shadows, standing with Evan’s parents.
Jason (smiling):
“Don’t worry, guys. We’ve got you covered.”
Page 9 – Panel 2:
Evan’s parents, now revealed to have powers of their own, stand alongside Jason. Evan’s father, Thomas, is surrounded by an aura of energy, while his mother, Margaret, emits a gentle yet powerful force field. They look ready for battle, their faces filled with determination.
Margaret (smiling):
“We’re here to help. And yes, we’ve got powers now too.”
Page 9 – Panel 3:
The team stares in surprise, a mixture of confusion and admiration on their faces as they realize that Evan’s parents have joined the fight.
Evan (wide-eyed):
“Mom, Dad… how…?”
Thomas (grinning):
“Let’s just say we’ve had some help. We’re not sitting this one out.”
Page 10 – Full-page spread:
The team, now joined by Evan’s parents, stands together, ready for whatever new threat is coming. The storm clouds in the distance are ominous, signaling that this is far from over.
Caption (narration):
“New allies, new dangers. The war for Earth’s survival is far from over. And the storm is just beginning.”
