Page 1 – Full-page spread:
The page opens with a vast cosmic scene, the calm of space interrupted by the sudden appearance of a massive meteor hurtling toward Earth. It burns through the atmosphere, leaving a trail of fire and smoke as it races toward the ground. The planet below is unaware of the devastation about to be unleashed.
Caption (narration):
“A meteor, unknown and deadly, falls from the heavens. It’s too late for anyone to stop it. The impact is inevitable.”
Page 2 – Panel 1:
The meteor crashes into the Earth with catastrophic force. We see a massive explosion on the horizon, the shockwave rippling outward as it devastates everything in its path. A few buildings collapse, and the ground cracks open, creating a gaping wound in the Earth’s surface.
Page 2 – Panel 2:
In a bustling city, a couple sits at a small cafe bar, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. The man smiles as he takes a sip from his drink.
Mark (smiling):
“I’m really glad we finally did this... it’s been too long, don’t you think?”
Karla (laughing):
“I was starting to think you’d never ask.”
Page 2 – Panel 3:
Suddenly, the sky darkens, and the couple looks up in shock as something large falls from the sky. They stand in a rush, the woman’s hand clutching her companion’s arm as they stare in disbelief at the meteor speeding toward them.
Karla (yelling):
“What is that?!”
Page 2 – Panel 4:
The meteor slams into the earth nearby, causing an enormous shockwave. The blast is so powerful it knocks the couple off their feet, and people in the cafe scream in terror, running in all directions. The impact is deafening, and a cloud of dust and debris fills the air.
Mark (shouting):
“We need to get out of here!”
Page 3 – Panel 1:
The camera pulls back, revealing the destruction in the immediate vicinity of the meteor. People are lying on the ground, lifeless. The ground itself seems to be breathing with a strange, unnatural pulse, and the air around it seems to shimmer with an eerie energy.
Caption (narration):
“The meteor’s impact sends shockwaves of devastation across the land. But the worst is yet to come.”
Page 3 – Panel 2:
We see a close-up of the meteor, which is now surrounded by a glowing liquid slowly seeping out of the crater. This liquid is dark, ominous, and toxic, seeping into the soil, water, and even the air. A small animal drinks from a nearby puddle, immediately convulsing and mutating, its body twisting into a monstrous form.
Page 3 – Panel 3:
In the distance, a nearby ocean starts to bubble with the same contaminated liquid, waves rolling violently as the ocean begins to teem with monstrous, mutated sea creatures. A large shadow moves beneath the waves, signaling the rise of new and dangerous predators.
Caption (narration):
“The impact unleashed more than destruction. It released a contaminated substance that began altering every living thing it touched. In a matter of days, humans and wildlife alike began to change. Mutating into something... more.”
Page 4 – Panel 1:
On Draxion the return of Dr. Vaen is shown. She’s back on her home planet, the scientific hub where she’s been conducting research. Mirage, leading a small team, arrives at her lab, holding a holographic projection of the meteor’s impact on Earth.
Mirage (serious):
“We need your help, Dr. Vaen. Something happened on Earth—a meteor fell, and it’s more than just a Zynar attack. We need to understand what it is, where it came from, and what’s causing the changes.”
Dr. Vaen (looking concerned):
“A meteor, you say? This isn’t from Zynar?”
Page 4 – Panel 2:
Dr. Vaen examines the holographic image with great focus, her fingers hovering over the projection of the meteor. She looks up at Mirage, a sense of unease growing in her expression.
Dr. Vaen:
“This is... something else entirely. It’s not just the meteor’s impact that’s dangerous. The substance it released, it’s... altering biology in ways I’ve never seen before. I need to go to Earth to investigate.”
Page 5 – Panel 1:
Cut back to Earth. The scene shifts to Evan and his team, stationed in a secure base on Earth. They’re preparing to head out, their faces grim and serious. Captain Felix Hawke, standing at a command console, looks at a sample of the contaminated liquid in a vial, his brow furrowed in concern.
Captain Hawke (muttering to himself):
“This... this is not normal. Whatever’s happening, this isn’t just a simple attack. Something much worse is coming.”
Page 5 – Panel 2:
The team, ready for action, prepares to face the monstrous creatures emerging from the impact zone. Voltfist electrifies a weapon, Mirage adjusts her gear, and Aegis readies his shield. Everyone is tense, knowing that the stakes have risen.
Voltfist (serious):
“We’re going to need everything we’ve got to fight whatever’s out there. These creatures aren’t from Zynar. We’re facing something else.”
Page 6 – Panel 1:
Jason is flying, cutting through the clouds as he heads for Evan’s home. When he arrives at their house, he sends a message to them.
Jason:
“Evan’s parents, I need to talk to you. A meteor has struck Earth, and something’s happened. People, animals—they’re being changed. You need to prepare, because if you want to help, we’ve got something for you.”
Page 6 – Panel 2:
Evan’s parents look at each other in disbelief as they sit together in their living room. They are hesitant, unsure of what to do.
Margaret (worried):
“Mutated... changed into something else? Jason, are you sure about this?”
Thomas (hesitant):
“What does he mean by helping? What if we can’t survive this?”
Page 7 – Panel 1:
Jason, now at Evan’s home, levitating in the air. He speaks softly but urgently.
Jason:
“Look, I know it’s a lot to process, but this is serious. We’ve got a chance to help—if you’re willing to take the risk. We’ve got a treatment, but it’s not guaranteed. You’ll need to decide if you want to be part of this fight. But time is running out.”
Page 7 – Panel 2:
Evan’s parents exchange another look, unsure. The weight of their decision hangs in the air.
Margaret (softly):
“Can we really trust this? Is it safe?”
Jason (firmly):
“If you want to fight, it’s the only way. I can’t promise it’s going to be easy, but it’s the only chance you’ll have.”
Page 8 – Panel 1:
Cut back to the team in the base. Captain Hawke is monitoring communications, watching the news reports as the situation on Earth grows worse. The base is in full alert, with scientists working to analyze the contaminated substance further.
Captain Hawke (on comms):
“Team, get ready. Whatever we’re facing out there, it’s only going to get worse. We need to move fast.”
Page 8 – Panel 2:
As the scene shifts back to the chaos outside, mutated creatures and monstrous beings emerge from the wreckage. Humans, once normal, now possess strange, powerful abilities, their bodies contorting into monstrous forms. The battle for survival is about to begin.
Caption (narration):
“The Earth is changing. And with it, a new breed of monsters—born from the meteor’s curse—are emerging. The fight for survival begins now.”
Page 9 – Full-page spread:
Evan, standing with the crew, his face determined but filled with worry, looks at the horizon as monstrous shapes loom in the distance. His team prepares for battle, ready to take on whatever is coming their way. The fight is only just beginning.
Caption (narration):
“The Earth will never be the same again. And neither will its people. The battle to survive—and to stop this new threat—has only just begun.”
