Page 1 – Panel 1:
Morning sunlight beams softly through Evan’s bedroom window. He sits up groggily in bed, rubbing his eyes. A faint shadow of yesterday’s funeral still lingers in his expression.
Page 1 – Panel 2:
He walks down the stairs slowly in a T-shirt and sweats. His parents are already in the kitchen, the coffee pot steaming.
Margaret:
“Morning, sweetheart.”
Evan (softly):
“Morning...”
Page 1 – Panel 3:
They all sit quietly on the couch, coffee mugs in hand. Steam rises, the silence more comforting than awkward.
Page 1 – Panel 4:
Evan checks his phone. A message from Jason appears:
TEXT (Jason):
“Cap said take the day. Spend it with your folks. You earned it.”
TEXT (Evan):
“Got it. Thanks.”
Page 2 – Full-page splash:
A sprawling, high-tech superhuman prison. Towering walls, guard towers, and patrolling drones. Guards wear heavy exo-armor and carry energy rifles. Inside, reinforced brass cells line the complex. Among them— Copycat, Tsunamo, Nullshade, Climax. In separate cells: Nullshade meditates in eerie silence, Tsunamo stares at the water droplet on the wall, Climax powers down quietly, and Copycat grins with wild eyes.
Page 3 – Panel 1:
Copycat nods discreetly at Tsunamo.
Page 3 – Panel 2:
Copycat suddenly screams, thrashing in his cell, spitting and yelling incoherently.
Copycat (yelling):
“GET ME OUT, YOU JARHEADS! I’LL EAT YOUR BRAINS FOR PUDDING!”
Page 3 – Panel 3:
Guards start rushing down the corridor with weapons ready.
Page 3 – Panel 4:
Tsunamo begins to liquefy and expand, turning into a massive high-pressure vortex. Steam rises as he floods his cell.
Page 3 – Panel 5:
BOOM! Brass doors explode outward as water blasts through. Guards stagger back.
Page 4 – Panel 1:
Copycat keeps yelling and flipping off the guards as they surround him.
Page 4 – Panel 2:
Tsunamo sneaks behind the distracted guards and slams their heads together with a watery headbutt— CRACK!
Page 4 – Panel 3:

Page 4 – Panel 4:
Tsunamo slides the card at a master panel— ALL CELLS UNLOCK.
Page 5 – Panel 1:
Villains and violent criminals flood out. Nullshade steps from his cell with eerie calm and fistbumps Tsunamo.
Nullshade:
“Bout time.”
Page 5 – Panel 2:
Climax charges his plasma chest cannon. Guards pour in—he fires a MASSIVE blast, ripping through walls and doors.
Page 5 – Panel 3:
Mayhem. Criminals rampage. Guards are slaughtered, dismembered. Sirens wail, lights flash red.
Page 6 – Panel 1:
At the hero base, Captain Hawke answers a glowing red line call. His face turns grim.
Warden (over comm):
“They’re out. All of them. We need your team.”
Page 6 – Panel 2:
Captain Hawke turns to the rest of the team who just entered, still bruised and tired.
Captain Hawke:
“Suit up. We’ve got a breach.”
Page 7 – Panel 1:
Back to the villains—now on the run through a remote coastal area. Waves crash. They stand over a submerged crater where Magmatic had drowned.
Page 7 – Panel 2:
Tsunamo steps into the water, eyes glowing blue. His body melts into it, connecting to all water.
Tsunamo:
“He’s still here. Trapped.”
Page 7 – Panel 3:
They pull out Magmatic—still in rocky form. He’s silent, frozen.
Page 7 – Panel 4:
Climax charges his chest cannon.
Climax:
“Let’s heat things up.”
Page 8 – Panel 1:
He fires. The rock shell SHATTERS. Magmatic erupts in molten glory.
Magmatic (grinning):
“You’re welcome.”
Tsunamo:
“Shut up or I drown you again.”
Page 8 – Panel 2:
A glowing yellow portal appears. They all step back, tense.
Page 8 – Panel 3:
A man steps out—sleek suit, long coat, glowing yellow eyes.
Dimension Hopper:
“I believe we can help each other.”
Page 8 – Panel 4:
Copycat (excited):
“Ooo! Fancy coat guy! What’s the catch?”
Page 8 – Panel 5:
Dimension Hopper:
“I need a gemstone that lets me travel time and dimensions. Help me find it... and I’ll help you conquer anything.”
Page 9 – Montage page (varied panels):
They travel through wild dimensions—jungle planets, frozen wastelands, upside-down gravity worlds. Copycat constantly complains. Magmatic asserts himself as team leader.
Page 10 – Panel 1:
Sand dimension. Vast dunes. In the center: a glowing green gem floats alone.
Nullshade:
“Wait. There.”
Page 10 – Panel 2:
Copycat:
“Too easy. I’m going in.”
He creates a dozen copies and rushes forward.
Page 10 – Panel 3:

Page 14 – Panel 1:
The dust settles. Copycat steps up.
Copycat:
“Alright, coat boy, here’s your—”
Looks down. The gemstone is gone.
Page 14 – Panel 2:
Behind him, a voice:
Lena:
“Looking for this?”
She hovers with Phantomark, Jason, and Mirage at her side. The team is ready.
Page 15 – Panel 1:
Dimension Hopper (furious):
“GET THEM!”
Page 15-17 – Brutal battle montage:
Lena and Jason fly with insane speed, fists shattering earth. Phantomark creates mental illusions to confuse foes. Mirage shifts from beast to blade to beast again. The fight is fast, savage, and overwhelming.
Page 18 – Panel 1:
Dimension Hopper knocks Lena aside and grabs the gem.
Page 18 – Panel 2:
He holds it to his forehead—
Dimension Hopper:
“With this, I—”
Page 18 – Panel 3:
The gem turns to flesh—Mirage morphs back and PUNCHES HIM OUT COLD.*
Page 19 – Panel 1:
Magmatic lets out a full lava blast. Lena throws the real gem in front of it—
Page 19 – Panel 2:
BOOM! The gem absorbs all heat—then EXPLODES.
Page 19 – Panel 3:
Everyone is knocked out—Dimension Hopper dazed, growling.
Dimension Hopper:
“This isn’t over! Kill them all!”
Page 20 – Panel 1:
Jason and Lena fly at Tsunamo and Magmatic. They crash into them—
Page 20 – Panel 2:

Tsunagmatic (screaming):
“NOO—GAAAAHHH—”

Page 20 – Panel 3:
The Dimension Hopper, seeing the situation vanishes through a portal.
Copycat (panicked):
“Oh hell—uh, surrender?!”
Page 21 – Panel 1:
Nullshade is on the ground. Mirage opens her holy book and reads.
Page 21 – Panel 2:
Nullshade’s body begins to rip—white side pulled to heaven, black side dragged to hell. He screams as he’s torn in two.
Page 21 – Panel 3:
Only Copycat and Climax remain. They kneel.
Climax:
“Alright. We’re done.”
Page 22 – Panel 1:
Back at the prison. Copycat is shackled 15 ways. A bruised guard glares.
Copycat (smirking):
“Miss me?”
Page 22 – Panel 2:
They’re placed in ultra-reinforced, layered cells. Red security lights glow. 120x locked down.
Page 22 – Panel 3:
Back at the hero base. The team walks in—beaten, bloodied, but victorious. Voltfist and Mindquake look up.
Mindquake:
“Let me guess—another dimension?”
Jason (grinning):
“And another villain. One who won’t stay gone for long.”
Caption (narration):
“The war’s not over. It just got bigger.”
