Page 1 - Panel 1:
Wide shot of space, vast and serene. Stars twinkle softly against a deep, dark blue-black sky. Slowly zoom in on the planet Aethon, its surface shimmering with vast oceans, green lands, and towering cities.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
Aethon. A world that was. A home to billions. Once... just like Earth.
Page 1 - Panel 2:
Close-up of Aethon, a tranquil planet in the distance, looking peaceful and idyllic.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
I don’t remember much about it... It feels like a dream, faded and distant. A life I once lived, but no longer do.
Page 2 - Panel 1:
A dark, menacing shadow begins to grow over Aethon, slowly expanding across the planet’s surface.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
Then, it happened. Something... came.
Page 2 - Panel 2:
The shadow expands rapidly, darkening the skies. The distant sun’s light dims, casting the planet into an unnatural twilight.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
It came from the sky. From nowhere. Like a storm, but worse. Much worse.
Page 3 - Panel 1:
Violent tremors rock the planet’s surface. Cracks appear in the land, and massive tsunamis form in the oceans.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
Cities shattered. Oceans raged. Land split apart...
Page 3 - Panel 2:
Fragments of cities crumble into the seas, buildings collapsing, and entire landscapes breaking apart in chaos.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
I was there when it happened. But I didn’t understand it. No one did. The whole world just... broke.
Page 4 - Panel 1:
The image of destruction grows intense, showing more of the chaos on Aethon. People flee, and the storm continues to spread. It’s clear this is no natural disaster—there’s something more sinister happening.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
They said it was a natural disaster. But something in my gut told me... it wasn’t.
Page 4 - Panel 2:
The sky above Aethon is fully covered in the dark shadow now, and the planet is being consumed by it, looking like it’s on the verge of collapse.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
The last thing I remember is the light fading. And then... nothing.
Page 5 - Panel 1:
Transition. A quiet morning in a suburban neighborhood on Earth. Evan wakes up in his bed, the sun filtering through his window.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
But that was years ago. Now... it’s just a memory. A dream. This is home now.
Page 5 - Panel 2:
Evan walks into the kitchen, greeting his parents who are having breakfast. His dad nods at him while his mom smiles.
Evan:
“Morning, Mom. Morning, Dad.”
Page 5 - Panel 3:
His mom hands him a mug of coffee as he sits down at the table. The family’s casual, comfortable vibe is evident.
Mom:
“Ready for school, Evan?”
Evan:
“Yeah, just another day.”
Page 6 - Panel 1:
Evan, now dressed in his school clothes, walks outside of his house, waving to his parents as he heads to the sidewalk.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
I don’t think about Aethon anymore. Not really. There’s just... life. A normal life.
Page 6 - Panel 2:
Evan walks past his friend Jason, who waves enthusiastically.
Jason:
“Yo, Evan! Ready for today’s chem quiz?”
Evan:
“Bring it on, man. Let’s go!”
Page 6 - Panel 3:
Jason and Evan walk together, talking casually. A clear contrast to the past chaos Evan lived through.
Jason:
“Dude, you’ve gotta see the new game I got. It’s insane!”
Evan:
“Sounds sick, I’ll check it out later.”
Page 7 - Panel 1:
The school bell rings as Evan and Jason walk through the school entrance. There’s the typical teenage energy: students chatting, rushing to class, lockers slamming.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
This is my life now. Simple. Normal.
Page 7 - Panel 2:
Evan walks past a girl, his crush, who is laughing with her friends. She doesn’t notice him, but Evan sneaks a glance at her as he walks by.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
And then there’s her. Leila...
Page 7 - Panel 3:
Close-up of Evan’s face as he watches her, a mix of admiration and longing. He shakes his head, focusing back on the school day ahead.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
But she doesn’t know me like that. Not yet.
Page 8 - Panel 1:
Evan sits in his first class of the day, tapping his pen on the desk. He looks lost in thought for a moment.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
It’s weird sometimes, like I’m living two lives. But this... this is my life now.
Page 8 - Panel 2:
The teacher begins the lesson, and Evan snaps back into focus, shaking off the feeling. The day continues.
Teacher:
“Alright, everyone, let’s get started with today’s lesson on—”
Page 9 - Panel 1:
The bell rings, signaling the end of the school day. Students rush out, chatter filling the hallways.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
Another day, another class. Nothing’s changed.
Page 9 - Panel 2:
As Evan walks outside, the atmosphere shifts subtly. A figure stands at the edge of the school grounds, partially in shadow. The mysterious figure’s silhouette is familiar but unclear—Lena, but not yet revealed.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
But some things... some things never stay hidden.
Page 9 - Panel 3:
The figure watches Evan for a moment before disappearing into the shadows as Evan continues walking. The transition to mystery is quick and subtle.
Narration (Evan’s Voice):
I don’t know why I felt it. But I did. Someone was watching me.
