Page 1 – Panel 1:
Wide shot of the high-security Facility 9, buried deep beneath a remote military base. Stark white corridors. Massive steel doors. Red lighting flickers slightly.
Page 1 – Panel 2:
Evan and Lena walk through a hallway escorted by two armed agents. Both are cleaned up from battle, but the fatigue is visible on their faces.
Evan (quietly, to Lena):
“So... how do you feel about meeting Earth’s finest politicians?”
Lena (dryly):
“Thrilled. Let’s hope they don’t shoot first.”
Page 2 – Panel 1:
Inside a secure, high-tech briefing room. Captain Hawke stands at a central display. Several serious-looking government officials sit around a circular table. DNA graphics and footage from the attack play on a holographic screen.
Captain Hawke:
“Good. You’re both here.”
Page 2 – Panel 2:
Captain turns to Lena, offers a nod. She returns it coolly.
Captain Hawke:
“Miss...?”
Lena:
“Lena Aepron. That’ll do.”
Page 3 – Panel 1:
Captain speaks firmly, turning back to the others, clearly in charge.
Captain Hawke:
“This was no isolated incident. We’re under coordinated attack. These aren’t creatures. They’re soldiers. Whoever’s sending them isn’t just testing us—they’re hunting something.”
Page 3 – Panel 2:
He taps a button. A 3D render of a Zaroxxen corpse appears.
Captain Hawke:
“We tried DNA scans. Our systems don’t even recognize them as living organisms. Our labs are useless. We need alien minds on this. Scientists. Fighters. Strategists.”
Page 4 – Panel 1:
Turns toward Evan and Lena.
Captain Hawke:
“I want you to build a team. A defense initiative. One Earth can turn to when the skies fall.”
Page 4 – Panel 2:
Evan:
“You’re talking about... a galactic task force?”
Captain Hawke (nods):
“Exactly. Start with the ones you trust. Find warriors, experts—anyone who’s survived the things you’ve seen.”
Page 5 – Panel 1:
Lena folds her arms, skeptical but intrigued.
Lena:
“You do know this isn’t like shopping at a space mall, right? The galaxy isn’t... friendly.”
Page 5 – Panel 2:
Captain Hawke:
“We’re not asking for peace. We’re asking for survival. If these monsters are coming for you... we need to be ready for what comes next.”
Page 6 – Panel 1:
Evan walks down a long empty hallway with Lena after the meeting, deep in thought. He looks out through a small window showing Earth’s night sky.
Evan:
“I always wondered if anyone else was out there… survivors like us. Maybe it’s time to find out.”
Page 6 – Panel 2:
Lena stands next to him.
Lena:
“We’ll need people we can trust. People who won’t burn the galaxy down in the process.”
Evan (half-smile):
“No Draken-types, got it.”
Page 7 – Panel 1:
Back in the main room, Captain Hawke speaks to a smaller group of his advisors as Evan and Lena leave.
Captain (serious):
“Start preparing for contact scenarios. Weapons upgrades. Anti-personnel defense. Everything.”
Advisor:
“Sir, you’re putting a lot of faith in... two aliens.”
Captain:
“No. I’m putting faith in the ones who’ve already bled for this planet. That’s more than I can say for half this room.”
Page 8 – Panel 1:
Wide, cinematic shot—Evan flies into the stars, his body glowing against the darkness, Earth slowly shrinking beneath him.
Narration (Evan's voice):
“Out there—somewhere—are the ones who survived. The ones like me. This time, I’m not running. I’m bringing them home.”
