Page 1 – Panel 1:
We open with a cozy evening scene—Evan and Leila sitting in a warmly lit rooftop restaurant, candles flickering. The city skyline stretches behind them, peaceful and unaware of the chaos looming.
Leila (smiling):
“I’m glad you’re okay. When I saw the news about Cairo… I was really worried.”
Evan (soft grin):
“Yeah, it’s been… a weird week. But I’m fine. Really.”
Page 1 – Panel 2:
They clink glasses. The mood is light. Evan seems at ease for the first time in a while.
Leila:
“I feel like the world’s gone insane. Two alien attacks in a week? What’s happening?”
Evan (thinking):
If only you knew…
Evan (aloud):
“Let’s just say… we might have to get used to strange.”
Page 2 – Full page splash:
Suddenly, a violent explosion rips through the city—far enough to shake the rooftop but close enough to see the blast. Screams echo from the streets. A news alert lights up nearby screens—“NEW ATTACK UNDERWAY.”
Page 3 – Panel 1:
Leila stands, panic on her face. Smoke and fire start rising from nearby buildings. In the distance, we see them—five humanoid beings, massive and grotesque. Pale, thick-skinned, humanoid bodies with spike-covered arms, glowing eyes, and weapons made from bone and steel. One swings a mace the size of a truck door, flattening a building wall.
Leila (panicking):
“What the hell are those?!”
Evan (firm):
“Leila, listen to me—go! Find somewhere safe and hide. I’ll… I’ll call for help.”
Page 3 – Panel 2:
He runs into an alley, away from her view. The moment he’s out of sight, he throws on his suit in a blur of movement, expression dark and focused.
Evan (to himself):
“This isn’t like the last ones. These things… they think.”
Pages 4-7 – Action Sequence:
The fight begins, and it’s brutal. These creatures—Zaroxxen elites—are coordinated, intelligent, and merciless. Evan punches one, and its jaw cracks sideways—but it grabs him with a broken arm and hurls him across the street.
Another swings its mace, sending a shockwave through the air, shattering cars and windows.
Evan rips into one with a burst of power, impaling it through the torso, but a second one slams a knee into his ribs. Blood sprays. His suit cracks at the shoulder.*
He tries to fly up—but one grabs his leg mid-air and slams him into the ground, the concrete buckling under his body.
Page 8 – Panel 1:
As one Zaroxxen lifts a jagged spike to finish Evan—BOOM—a sonic wave tears through the air.
Enter Lena, slamming full-force into the creature’s side, sending it through three parked cars. Her face is fierce. She doesn’t speak. She just fights.
Pages 8-11 – Bloodbath:
Together, Evan and Lena fight like soldiers in sync. The battle is a symphony of carnage:
Lena tears through one creature’s abdomen, yanking out its organs with a scream.
Evan decapitates another with a blinding-speed spin punch, its head flying into a building.
One tries to crawl away—Evan grabs its jaw and rips it in half, bones cracking.
Another lifts its mace—Lena crushes its arm at the elbow, then shoves her arm through its skull.
Blood splatters walls. Civilians scream and flee in the background. Sirens wail.
Page 12 – Panel 1:
The final Zaroxxen falls. Evan and Lena breathe heavily, bloodied, standing over broken corpses in the empty street. The city is eerily quiet, buildings still burning.
Page 12 – Panel 2:
Evan turns to Lena, exhausted.
Evan:
“Thanks… I would’ve been toast without you.”
Lena:
“Yeah. You owe me dinner next time.”
Page 13 – Panel 1:
Evan disappears into an alley. In moments, he’s out of his suit again and wiping blood off his face. He jogs back to the restaurant area, where Leila is crouched behind a pillar, shaken.
Evan (panting):
“Help’s on the way. You okay? I tried calling—signal’s down.”
Leila (hugging him):
“I thought you were gone. That was… that wasn’t a monster. That was a war.”
Page 13 – Panel 2:
They walk away from the wreckage slowly, dazed, not saying much. Fire reflects in Evan’s eyes. The night is broken.
Page 14 – Panel 1:
Evan gets back home. Just as he walks inside, his phone rings—Captain Hawke.
Captain (over phone):
“You and Lena. Now. Facility 9. We need to talk about what just happened.”
Evan (quietly, to himself):
“I was afraid you’d say that.”
Page 14 – Panel 2:
Final panel: A wide shot of the blood-soaked city street, littered with alien corpses. One of them twitches slightly—then stops.
