Page 1 - Panel 1:
Opening shot: The sun rises over a typical suburban neighborhood. Evan steps out of his front door, backpack slung over one shoulder, heading to school. His parents wave goodbye in the background.
Narration (Evan’s voice):
"Another day. Another Monday. Honestly, sometimes I wish everything would just stay normal for a while."
Page 1 - Panel 2:
At school, Evan is chatting with Jason at their lockers. Jason is animated, clearly excited about something.
Jason:
“Dude, I can’t believe you’re actually going on a date with Leila. How are you feeling?”
Evan (smirking):
“More nervous than I thought I’d be. I mean, her? But yeah, it should be fun.”
Page 1 - Panel 3:
Jason raises an eyebrow, teasing Evan.
Jason:
“She’s been into you for ages, man. Don't mess this up!”
Page 1 - Panel 4:
Evan shrugs, trying to act cool but clearly a little anxious.
Evan:
“I’m just gonna play it cool. Besides, I have no idea what’s going on in her head.”
Page 2 - Panel 1:
Cut to the evening. Evan and Leila are sitting at a small, intimate table at a local restaurant. There’s a soft buzz of conversations around them, but they’re focused on each other.
Leila (laughing):
“So, you’re really telling me you’ve never gone hiking before? What kind of person are you?”
Evan (smiling nervously):
“Not much of an outdoors guy. But if you want to show me the ropes, I guess I could survive.”
Page 2 - Panel 2:
Leila gives him a playful smirk. They both continue chatting, clearly getting more comfortable with each other.
Leila:
“So, what’s the deal with you? You don’t really talk about yourself much.”
Evan:
“There’s not much to talk about. Same old stuff, y’know? Family, school, trying to stay out of trouble.”
Page 3 - Panel 1:
The mood shifts slightly as the door to the restaurant swings open, and three government agents enter. Their presence is almost imposing. They scan the room, and their eyes settle on Evan.
Agent #1 (quietly to Agent #2):
“Target confirmed. Move in.”
Page 3 - Panel 2:
Leila and Evan both freeze mid-conversation as the agents approach their table. One agent speaks up, his voice calm but firm.
Agent #1 (coldly):
“Evan Holt. We need you to come with us.”
Page 3 - Panel 3:
Evan stands up quickly, startled and confused. Leila looks shocked and stands too, a mix of worry and confusion in her eyes.
Leila (shouting):
“What’s going on?!”
Agent #2 (firmly):
“We don’t have time for questions. You’re coming with us.”
Page 3 - Panel 4:
Evan glances at Leila one last time before complying. He walks out of the restaurant, agents following behind. The doors swing closed as Leila watches in disbelief.
Page 4 - Panel 1:
Cut to the outside. Evan is pushed into the back of an unmarked black government car. He sits stiffly as the doors slam shut. The car drives off, leaving the restaurant behind.
Evan (thinking):
“This... is not happening.”
Page 4 - Panel 2:
Inside the car, the atmosphere is tense. Evan’s eyes dart from the agents in the front to the strange, impassive faces of the other agents in the back.
Agent #1 (without looking at Evan):
“You’re being taken to a facility for routine testing. We need your cooperation.”
Page 4 - Panel 3:
Cut to the government facility, a high-security, sterile environment. Guards and scientists move about as technicians run scans and readouts on a computer. A cold, metallic lab. The vehicle pulls into the parking lot.
Narration (Evan’s voice):
“I don’t even know what I did wrong. But I have a feeling this is more than some ‘routine check-up.’”
Page 5 - Panel 1:
Evan is escorted into a testing room. The walls are lined with scientific equipment. He sits in a metal chair, the lights harsh and unwelcoming. Several government scientists are already preparing for tests.
Dr. Olivia Kade (stepping forward):
“Mr. Holt. I’ll be conducting your tests today. We’ve just got a few questions for you.”
Page 5 - Panel 2:
The camera focuses on Captain Hawke, who watches from behind the one-way glass. His expression is serious and calculating.
Captain Hawke (to another agent, quietly):
“We’re getting closer. This kid’s connection to the creature is undeniable. We need answers.”
Page 5 - Panel 3:
Dr. Kade looks over to a nearby technician, who pulls up a series of Evan’s test results on a monitor. His DNA sample is displayed.
Dr. Kade:
“We’ve been analyzing the sample we took from the creature. It’s linked to your DNA. Can you explain that?”
Page 5 - Panel 4:
Close-up of Evan, his face tight with confusion and fear.
Evan:
“I—I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Page 6 - Panel 1:
The room fills with a cold silence. Dr. Kade seems unfazed, but she’s also clearly fishing for something.
Dr. Kade (continuing):
“We’ve run tests on your body. Energy readings. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen. This... anomaly in your biology. This ‘power.’”
Page 6 - Panel 2:
Evan shifts in his seat, his mind racing as he remembers the monster, the way he fought it, the way he felt alive with power.
Evan (thinking):
“This is it. They know. But how much?”
Page 6 - Panel 3:
Dr. Kade steps closer, observing Evan closely.
Dr. Kade:
“Tell us everything. About the creature. About yourself.”
Page 6 - Panel 4:
Evan glares at her, stubbornly refusing to speak. He stays silent.
Evan (thinking):
“They’re looking for answers. But I’m not giving them what they want. Not yet.”
Page 7 - Panel 1:
The scene cuts to Captain Hawke watching the proceedings through the glass. He looks concerned, tapping his fingers on the glass.
Captain Hawke (thinking):
“He’s hiding something. But I’m not giving up. Not yet.”
Page 7 - Panel 2:
Back in the testing room, Dr. Kade looks at Evan, trying to gauge his response.
Dr. Kade:
“We’ll get the information one way or another. You won’t be able to run from it forever.”
Page 7 - Panel 3:
Final panel: Close-up of Evan, his eyes narrowed with resolve. The mystery has deepened, and the tension is palpable. He's about to be pushed to his limit.
Narration (Evan’s voice):
"I thought I had control. But now, everything’s falling apart. And I have no idea who I can trust."
