Page 1 – Panel 1:
A lush, otherworldly landscape. Three moons hang in the sky. Mirage, Phantomark, and Aegis step out of the ship, cloaks fluttering, the wind humming with unfamiliar sounds.
Caption:
“Planet Draxion. Once a kingdom of control. Now a cradle of renewal.”
Page 2 – Panel 1:
The trio walks toward a massive half-ruined lab built into a cliffside. A figure in the distance watches, then runs toward them—female, mid-40s, with alien features and warmth in her eyes.
Name: Dr. Nirell Vaen – Exobiologist from Draxion, former royal scientist before the rebellion.
Dr. Vaen (shouting):
“Mirage?! You’re alive!”
Page 3 – Panel 1:
She hugs Mirage tightly, then extends her arms to Phantomark and Aegis, tears welling.
Dr. Vaen:
“I never thought I’d see your faces again. The king is gone… isn’t he?”
Mirage (softly):
“He is.”
Page 4 – Panel 1:
Inside the lab. Dusty machines start humming back to life as the scientist boots up her equipment. They hand her the sealed sample.
Dr. Vaen:
“Let’s see what’s hiding in your nightmare.”
Page 5 – Panel 1:
Data scrolls across holographic panels. Alien symbols and shifting DNA strands float around them. A list of species appears—unknowns and false leads.
Dr. Vaen:
“Hm… could be Myrathi… maybe a mutated Drass? No, this is—wait.”
Page 6 – Panel 1:
Mirage mentions the twitch. The scientist pauses. The lab goes quiet for a beat.
Dr. Vaen (dead serious):
“You saw it move?”
Mirage:
“Barely. A nerve flicker.”
Page 7 – Panel 1 (full-page close-up):
The scientist’s face hardens. One word leaves her lips like thunder.
Dr. Vaen:
“Zynari.”
Page 8 – Panel 1:
Aegis and Phantomark react with confusion. But Mirage’s breath hitches. Cut to Lena—who wasn’t even on this planet, but the mention echoes in her soul.
Cut to Lena (wherever she is, eyes going wide):
Flashback of her as a child, being warned of a war once lost, the name “Zynar” whispered like death.
Page 9 – Panel 1:
Flashback Lena’s mentor whispering to her in hushed tones:
Mentor:
“They don’t conquer planets. They evolve through them. If the Zynari are behind this… it’s already too late.”
Page 10 – Panel 1:
Cut to a dark throne room. The LEADER rises for the first time—finally revealed in full: Zykor, monstrous yet regal, his body armored in organic matter, eyes glowing violet.
Zykor (coldly):
“…Now.”
Page 11 – Panel 1:
The GENERAL—Zyrax—turns and slams a glowing, obsidian-colored button. It pulses like a heartbeat.
Page 12 – Panel 1:
Cut to Earth. A peaceful street. A mother walks with her child. Suddenly, the sky cracks with a sound like the planet screaming.
Page 13 – Panel 1 (Full page horror panel):
A new monster crashes from the sky—colossal, brutal, unlike anything yet. Its limbs are twisted tech-organic masses, its mouth a spinning grinder of bone and metal. It grabs a bus and bites through it mid-air. People scream. Blood rains.
Page 14 – Panel 1:
Quick cuts: Cities erupting in panic. Sirens wail. Military units scrambling. Lena watching from a rooftop, frozen. Jason running outside, phone in hand. Leila staring at the news in horror.
Page 15 – Panel 1:
Back to Evan. He’s walking down the street. The ground trembles. He freezes. Looks up. Sees smoke in the far skyline.
Page 16 – Final Page:
A low angle of Evan’s face, the tremor reflected in his eyes. The air goes still. Birds fly off in a mass.
Caption (Evan's thought):
“…They’re here.”
